Woolzies Dryer Balls Review/Giveaway

I have to start with the name, Woolzies Dryer Balls is a funny name.  The name is not the only thing that caught my eye when I was asked if I would be interested in doing a review/giveaway on this product.  This dryer ball is all natural, that is what truly caught my interest.  I was shocked to learn that most commercial dryer liquids and sheets contain chemicals that destroy the fire retardant qualities in children's and adults clothing.  Woolzies are completely opposite of the everyday dryer sheets that we are all so used to.  Woolzies come in a box of 6 balls that are a little larger than a tennis ball.  You throw all 6 of the balls into the dryer and keep them there to do there job for 1000 loads of laundry.  Woozlies are made from New Zealand wool, and have no chemicals.  They will not fall apart, melt or shed onto your laundry  They will save time and energy and reduce static and wrinkles in your laundry.

I thought I would give my Woolzies the ultimate test right off the bat- my teenager!  Yep, she does her own laundry and no matter how many times I tell her NOT to overload, she seems to always overload.  So I throw the balls in the dryer as soon as they came and asked my daughter to do a load of laundry.  I also wanted to see if she would notice 6 balls in the dryer, she didn't-LOL.  Anyway, the first thing that I noticed was the amount of drying time was shorten, by at least 15 minutes.   The next thing that I noticed and my daughter also mentioned was that there was no static electricity.  That is a big issue right now during these winter months.  You can get really zapped when you are pulling apart clothing and it's clinging together.  The first thing my daughter noticed when taking out the laundry was the six ball that came out with her clothes.  That was pretty funny, I still can't believe she did not notice them when she was loading the dryer.  I did our bedding next- because the sheets are the worst for the static electricity.  Much to my surprise there was no static cling-no zaps at all with my sheets.  Also the drying time was shortened by at least 15-20 minutes.   The Woolzies balls seem to collect the lint and all the little string and what-nots that usually end up on our sheets.  Since then I have done a few loads of laundry and it's the same each time- no static, shorten dry time, less lint.  I am very surprised and also very happy with the Woolzies dryer balls.  The drying time shortened by so much is quite impressive, I am curious to see what it does to our electric bill.  The cost for a box of 6 Woolzies dryer balls is $34.95 with shipping worldwide for $6.95.  That may seem kind of spendy at first but 6 Woolzies balls are guaranteed to last for 1000 loads.  That adds up to almost 3 loads of laundry per day for 1 year.  I am a Woolzies dryer ball fan and I would recommend these to anyone who uses a dryer to dry their clothes.  So now let's give a box away!
