The Juppy Baby Walker Momentum is such a cool idea in helping your baby learn to walk. It can also be great for children who have physical challenges and cannot walk without assistance. Sitting in the Juppy there is a sense of security that children may not get just holding onto someones hands. It isn't like any thing I ever had when my kids were little. When my kids were little and learning to walk, I would stand behind them and hold both hands as they walked and I would be hunched over guiding them. Being in that bent over position for any length of time was pretty rough on the back. Now as a grandmother with back issues it is simple impossible for me to do it at all. And remember those big bulky walkers that our kids had when they were young with the wheels so they would run into everything, get stuck or wedged between the furniture and the wall, pinching their little fingers and arms between wall and furniture, and the ever so painful running over someones toes or into someones legs, the screaming as they would run into siblings. Those things were more a pain in the you know what then anything. They were not at all practical and they were tough to properly clean and disinfected were the child sat.
As you can see in the video above.with the Juppy you can walk with you your child without hunching over and straining your back. You are always right there with the child so there is no pinching fingers, running siblings over, getting stuck or any of the other problems that come along with other walkers, the child is under constant supervision. The Juppy is made out from 100% cotton, so when you put your child in it is nice, soft and comfortable.
There are 2 velcro straps that lay across the zipper in the back so it cannot come unzipped. As you can see from the pictures and video that the Juppy has straps that the adult holds on to to guide the baby as he/she walks. The straps are adjustable to shorten or lengthen from 4'11" or 6'11" so that no matter what your height, you can find a comfortable length for yourself so when you walk with your baby you will not wrench your back. The straps also have soft hand grips that move the length of the strap so no matter were you adjust it you can move the hand grip were they are needed. The Juppy is one size fits all and comes with a little bag that it folds up and fits in. It is small enough to fit in your purse. It comes in pink and white, blue & white and black & yellow. You can also have it personalize with your child's name embroidered into the front of it-such a cute idea! I love the Juppy Baby Walker and really wish they would have had them when my kids were little. I am grateful that I have a Juppy to use with my little nephew as he is learns to walk and explore everything. With my back issues I would not be able to walk with him at all without the Juppy.

The little ones can have their hands free and it's much easier in my back.
ReplyDeleteI like this walker, I think it's a great idea! The old school wheeled walkers I never used with my first two babies because I always heard they didn't help and actually delayed walking- plus like you said they seemed bulky and a pain in the tush in general. My son is getting ready to start walking and I like how the Juppy helps keep them safe.
ReplyDeleteI wish they had this technology when my kids were younger. This item would be for my niece. I think it helps them really get around sooner.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great! Anything to help those late-starters!
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that this helps babies to learn how to walk, I would use the same strategies with my nieces but my back would start hurting and this helps support our backs making it easier to teach and for baby to learn
ReplyDeletethe ones my older kids used were dangerous, mostly for other people! haha! my youngest learned to walk without any kind of walker. :)
